Neil Curtling has welded inflatable boats for 35 years. The machine that runs the second bead on every seam is his own build, and the team that uses it fits in one photograph.

Seafarer's own heat welding machine runs a bead on the water side and a second on the air side. Two welds where the trade runs one.

That second bead is why the warranty can be what it is, and why a Seafarer tube holds pressure after the fabric around it has seen ten New Zealand summers.
